Will Ascent on Demand (AOD) be attending?

Yes.  Sharon Harding from AOD has confirmed that two people from AOD will be in attendance. See the attendee list at the bottom of this email to find out who will be attending from AOD.

 

How many people can I send?

You can send as many of your staff as you want.  They just need to register once the registration page is published.

 

Will this event sell out?

These events sell out each time we have them.  We expect this event to sell out as well.

 

What is the limit on number of attendees?

Currently the limit is 100 people.  The venue has a size restriction, so we might be able to increase it slightly.  But currently the limit is 100.

 

How many people can I send?

Why should you send delegates from your company?

This is a great way to meet some of your best brokers and carriers in a short period of time.   You can put “names” to “faces”.   You can move from table to table to build greater business relationships.

 

Does it cost to attend?

Yes.  But this gets you 2 hours speed networking and two hours of food and open bar and access to many of the best Expedite carriers and brokers in North America.  Think of this small investment as the least expensive sales call you will ever make!   How hard would it be to travel to each of the attendees offices to meet them face to face?   This networking event is a fantastic way to market your capabilities and services directly to key decision makers.

Is there a special room rate if I want to stay the night?

No.  We suspect most of the attendees will be within driving distance of the event.  If you want to stay the night, please contact the hotel directly.

 

Does the hotel have a bar?

Yes. They have a very nice bar area.  At prior events, many participants stayed later and went to the hotel bar to extend their networking opportunities.

 

Why did you choose this venue?

This hotel is very close to DTW (Detroit Airport) and right off the Interstate near the airport.  It is very convenient to get to.
